Danny Driver Variations

Over the 2025-26 and 2026-27, Danny Driver is excited to present his own curated series of five solo recitals dedicated to 'Variations' at London's iconic Wigmore Hall. 

Framed by two of the greatest keyboard works of all time, the series opens in November 2025 with J S Bach's Goldberg Variations and closes in April 2027 with Ludwig van Beethoven's Diabelli Variations.  In between, true to Driver's distinctive style of programming, the series takes a broad journey encompassing well-loved masterpieces and forgotten gems of the 18th,19th, and 20th centuries, as well as music of our own time composed during the last decade.  Featured composers include Robert Schumann, Gabriel Fauré, Nikolai Medtner, Sofia Gubaidulina, Amy Williams, Kenneth Leighton, and Thea Musgrave.

Accompanying the series will be a schedule of record releases on the Onyx and Hyperion labels - further details will be announced shortly.
